About the Shop

Sugar Moon is a small neighborhood bakeshop located in Logan Square. We offer elevated home-style pastries with an appreciation for old-school techniques.

We bake a variety of pastries, some are staples and while others rotate weekly and monthly. Since we use fresh, seasonal produce in our pastries, you’ll always have something new to look forward to every season! We start the day with a wide selection of unique breakfast pastries, savory and sweet, but our space is tiny so we do sell out fast! We recommend coming by early if you want to try our more popular offerings!

Although cakes were our original focus, there was a neighborhood demand for pastries, so now we’re mostly a pastry shop. But not your average pastry shop! Think of us as a baking studio. We’re only open a few days a week and our menu changes up every week. We don’t take custom orders, no preorders, no catering, no wholesale. We want to keep this a SMALL operation allowing us to spend more time coming out with new interesting flavors inspired by locally sourced ingredients.
